Immersive technologies often refers to technologies that enable a 3D visualisation and would bring you into another environment hence the word immersive. For example, Augmented Reality (AR) is a digital overlay on top of the real physical world - Pokemon Go and filters are known applications of AR. Virtual Reality (VR) is when you are transported into a completely virtual environment usually best experienced with a VR headset. Mixed Reality (MR) is when you can see the digital overlay of AR and can interact between the digital and physical world. All these Realities collectively are known as Extended Reality (XR). If you want a deeper dive and experiences the different realities, get in touch with to book a demo or immersion workshop for you company or your team.
We give estimates based on the scope of the project and its complexity. The range is quite wide but a first immersive experience is less expensive than you think. We will need more information about what you have and what we need before we provide a meaningful quote. Contact us, and we will reply with an estimate of the time required and a suggested budget.
While a typical immersive experience will require on average 4 months from the agreement date, it is sometimes possible for us to produce an immersive experience within a month depending on its complexity. Send us a message as soon as possible, and we will get back to you to let you know if we can bring your immersive experience to life within your timeframe.
It will depend on the immersive experience. For example, if it is a Virtual Reality experience, you can view it in 3D via a VR headset as well as on 2D devices such as your smartphone, tablet or desktop. You do not necessarily need to purchase headsets at the first instance as we can arrange a package that includes a headsets loaning program to help you get started. Ask us for more details.
